Pullman: Santa Fe Chief and Super Chief Observation Cars

The
Swallow tail Bedroom Observation cars of the Santa Fe Chief and Super
Chief had until this time been shopped at Pullmans' Calumet repair shops.
In May of 1950 Puye became the first of these cars to be shopped at
Richmond. The other 13 cars followed. For the "Vista" series cars this
was their only time through. The"Betahtakin" class cars were to come
through these shops again and receive a major change to their appearance.
